WhomToCall? Privacy Policy

BY INSTALLING, USING OR OTHERWISE ACCESSING THE APPLICATION FROM ANY DEVICE, MOBILE OR OTHERWISE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO ABIDE BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, DO NOT DOWNLOAD AND/OR ACCESS OUR APPLICATION.

This privacy policy governs your use of a software application (“WhomToCall?”) on a mobile device that was created by Brainstax (www.brainstax.com). WhomToCall? includes various features and content that are offered and delivered to such as: Personal information from LinkedIn, messages, and more as well as features and content that you may choose to add.

BrainStax is committed to protecting your privacy and safety rights while using the Application. BrainStax enforces strict privacy policies and protects your rights and maintains the following privacy practices:

1. No Spyware Policy – the Application does not collect or transmits personally identifiable information and does not monitor your personal use of the Application.

The Application might send unidentifiable and non-personal statistical data to enable quality assurance and improve support processes. Such non-personal data includes unidentifiable usage of the Application (for example; information about your device, your carrier and/or mobile software application platform statistical usage data, and device specific technical events such as software crashes or errors).
When you are on a mobile device, you are using a third party to access the internet and/or the application. All requests must be sent through your mobile carrier's network and the carrier may have access to it. For information regarding the carrier's treatment of your information, you must review your carrier's privacy policies. BrainStax has no control over the policies that may be applied by your carrier.

2. Third Party Features and Content –BrainStax or you may choose to add features or content to the Application. In the event that such features or content may require the collection of your personally identifiable information (for example: your login data of LinkedIn, information about content you use on the web, etc.) WhomToCall? Or LinkedIn providing the content must present to you a clear disclosure of the information that will be collected and you should have the opportunity to decide whether or not to share such information or alternatively not use or remove the content before the information is collected. WhomToCall? encourages you to read the terms of service and privacy policies offered by LinkedIn prior to using any of their content or features. Please note that WhomToCall? does not collect any personal information from you other than as described in this policy unless WhomToCall? specifically asks and You expressly grant WhomToCall? permission. .

You may choose to add additional content and features to the Application as part of your ongoing usage. BrainStax encourages you to read the terms of service and the privacy policy of any such content before you choose to add it to the Application.

3. No Adware Policy – You will not be required to view obtrusive ads in order to use the Application.

4. Unobtrusive – the Application does not enable other software applications to access data stored on your mobile device or in your personal online accounts. Changing your mobile device preferences, modifying web pages that you visit or accepting third party offers is not required in order to use the Application. You may voluntarily opt to change your search preferences (if applicable), add components or accept notifications, offers or other features.

5. Easy uninstall – Mobile app users can easily uninstall the mobile app at any time by using the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. This will also be available on the website.

6. Full control – you have full control over the Application and can modify your preferences at any time. You can easily deactivate or close the application at any time. Use of the application is at your own risk and neither Brainstax nor WhomToCall? can be held responsible.

7. LinkedIn Synchronization – Please note that WhomToCall? Collets data from LinkedIn such as status updates and post these updates in the application. Furthermore, the application makes use of automated twitter and Facebook updates. A message with ‘I am using WhomToCall?’ can be posted on your Twitter or Facebook and LinkedIn when using the WhomToCall? application. PLEASE NOTE: We do not use your personal LinkedIn data for other purposes than within the application.

8. Report – If you have a reason to believe that your rights have been infringed upon while using the Application, please contact Brainstax via email at mark.van.der.eng@brainstax.com . Once your e-mail is received, BrainStax will review it to ensure that the privacy practices provided herein are enforced.

9. Server – WhomToCall? sends your information to the server, this data is stored centrally. The only private information stored on the server are telephone numbers. These numbers are stored without a reference to any names or personal data.
